What does your day-to-day schedule look like working here?
My day-to-day activities as a client services team leader involve team management, auditing client interactions and support, project and task coordination, performance analysis, documentation and reporting, and continuous learning and development with our team to ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients and direct consumers.
How does it feel to be a team leader at Givex?
Being a team leader can be both rewarding and challenging. It is also a great responsibility to ensure our team delivers high-quality service and consistently meets expectations.
I take pride in my role as a team leader and strive to see our members succeed and achieve their goals. It’s an honour and gives me immense joy to work closely with collaborative colleagues and a hard-working team that contributes to a fulfilling work environment.
In what ways has working at Givex as a team leader challenged you?
Working at Givex as a team lead has presented various challenges that have tested my leadership skills, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. From time-sensitive situations to dealing with highly critical tasks, I have been trusted with the opportunity to make high-level suggestions and decisions, which keeps elevating my confidence day by day.
What’s your favourite part about coming to work every day? What keeps you motivated?
I am motivated by the challenging dynamic of my role and the supportive and collaborative culture within the organization. Every day presents a learning opportunity that keeps me constantly obtaining new information and increases my knowledge about our products and services.
I joined Givex in 2018 as a first-level support representative in my early 20s. Looking back on where I started, my experience at Givex has truly made me believe in my capabilities, improved my work ethic, and, of course, helped me grow both professionally and personally. I worked with amazing members of this organization who have consistently supported me by sharing their guidance and mentorship.
What made you interested in entering the tech industry? What about Givex made you specifically choose this company?
The tech industry has always fascinated me. I see the development and progress of technology, along with the diversity of the industry, which enables a multitude of different roles and functions within IT to suit various skill sets and with unlimited potential for learning and growing!
With an extensive background in customer service roles and a continuous desire to explore the tech industry, I found Givex to be the perfect mixture of the service and tech industry. Here, automation and managed services are integrated seamlessly, making complex processes and transactions easier and more efficient in the B2B and B2C sectors.
At this stage in your career, where do you see yourself within Givex in the next three years?
In the next three years, I envision myself playing a pivotal role in Givex’s success and making meaningful contributions to our client’s satisfaction and overall business objective.
My goal is to enhance my leadership skills by taking on more strategic responsibilities and leveraging my experience and insights to drive innovation, improve team efficiency, and foster a culture of confidence and continuous improvement within my team.
How would you describe your team and everyone else at Givex?
As the saying goes, ‘There is no I in team.’ My team is an incredible group of people united by constant communication, unwavering support, and sheer enthusiasm for our role in the organization.
As a 24/7, 365 days operational team, client services are the first point of contact for all support interactions and inquiries, making us an integral part of our organization and enabling us to work closely with many remarkable teams such as our Sales, Fulfillment, PAC, Developers, Client Relations, Implementations, Network and Integrations, and many more teams at Givex who also play a crucial role towards commitment to success and excellence while maintaining a culture of positivity, collaboration, and comradeship.
