Givex Signs Acquisition Agreement with Kalex
Givex is thrilled to announce that we’ve signed a definitive agreement to acquire all the shares of Kalex Equipment Services (“Kalex”).
Kalex, based in Toronto, is an IT service and consulting business that specializes in physical and digital retail enablement and has delivered over 600,000 point-of-sale lanes across North America since 1980. With 115 technicians across Canada and resources across the US, Kalex is experienced in delivering technology services to retail and hospitality clients.
The acquisition of Kalex enhances Givex’s ability to install and service point-of-sale systems across Canada, and provides us with opportunities to upsell our omnichannel platform to some of the largest brands in the country.
The transaction is expected to close during the week of Jan. 24, 2022, upon the satisfaction of certain conditions in the agreement.
