
.NET Developer (Toronto)

We are seeking a skilled .NET developer to join our Toronto R&D team and contribute to the development of software using the .NET framework.
To excel in this position, you must possess the ability to write functional code and have a keen eye for identifying and resolving defects. Collaboration and effective communication are essential, as you will be working closely with internal teams.
If you have a genuine passion for the .NET framework and possess a strong understanding of software design and architecture, then this role may be for you.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Participate in product requirement specifications and design process
- Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks
- Implement creative solutions to provide the best usability and user experience for our customers
- Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages
- Implement best practices in front-end engineering
- Collaborate with QA to effectively resolve issues found
- Track progress and deliver solutions on time
- Develop technical specifications and architecture
- Test and debug various .NET applications
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of solid experience in front-end web application development
- 5+ years of solid experience in C#, ASP.NET
- 3+ years of solid experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and AJAX
- Experience with content management systems is highly desirable
- Experience with social media API such as Facebook, Twitter is highly desirable
- Experience with email marketing is an asset
- Experience with Telerik’s ASP.NET AJAX libraries is an asset
- Exposure working in a pair programming environment would be an asset
- In-depth knowledge of .NET infrastructure
- Passionate about writing code
- Source code control experience would be an asset
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to articulate your creative ideas both in verbal and in written form
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to meet deadline and delivering timely results
- Work independently with minimal supervision
