Givex reports in Canadian dollars and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (\u00ab\u00a0IFRS\u00a0\u00bb).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAchieving net profit alongside revenue growth is a milestone we\u2019ve been working towards since going public,\u00a0\u00bb said&nbsp;Don Gray, CEO of Givex. \u201cGivex continues to entrench itself as a top player in the gift card and loyalty sectors while emerging as a trusted provider of POS and Payment solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First Quarter Financial Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Three-month period ending&nbsp;March 31, 2024&nbsp;(with comparisons relative to the three-month period ending&nbsp;March 31, 2023)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Revenue of $20.8 million, representing 8.6% growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gross Profit of $14.0 million, representing 6.3% growth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Net Income of $492,000, versus a loss in Q1, 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EBITDA<sup>1<\/sup> of $1.7 million, a 3,361% increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total Gross Transactional Value<sup>2<\/sup> of $1.74 billion, a 10% increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>POS Gross Transactional Value<sup>3<\/sup> of $472 million, a 17% increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer Locations<sup>4<\/sup> of 132,000, an 8% increase.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As at March 31, 2024, Givex had $23.7 million in cash and cash equivalents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Operational Highlights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Continued product optimization leading to the delisting of low-margin gift card resales, with expected long-term improvements to gross profit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improved operational efficiencies achieved with completion of Hong Kong data centre migration to Givex technology platform; expected to deliver estimated annual savings in excess of $350,000.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payroll costs are the key focus to improved EBITDA and positive net earnings.
